Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Miami is off to a strong start with a divorce shocker, an engagement party, rifts in the cast, and relationship woes. After an eight-year hiatus from Bravo, the series moved to Peacock for an epic reboot and new faces.
Five women from the original series came back for the reboot, along with three fresh Housewives and an entertaining friend of the series. While the women of Miami have never looked better, there’s a lot that has changed from season 1.
Adriana de Moura
Originally from Brazil, Adriana de Moura was an original Housewife who shared how successful she was as an art curator. Adriana prides herself on knowing multiple languages and is one of the most cultured members of the Real Housewives of Miami cast.
In her first three seasons, Adriana planned her dream wedding to Frederic Marq while raising her son. In the reboot, Adriana announced that she and Frederic divorced and that she was single and happily dating. Adriana has had her fair share of disputes with the women, especially Larsa Pippen, but has created a true friendship with new Housewife Julia Lemigova. The housewives of Miami can be easily found on social media where fans can see more of Adriana's life outside of filming.
Alexia Nepola
Alexia has lived an incredible life that’s dramatic enough for the movies. In the first three seasons, she ran Venue Magazine with her late husband and was known for her gorgeous looks and fiery personality. As an overprotective mother to two sons, it was gut-wrenching when her youngest son Frankie was in a life-altering car crash.
In the reboot, Alexis shed light on her new life with a new husband and future for Frankie. Alexia’s looks have altered slightly, but her Cuban flare is as amazing as ever. Her one-liners and confessional looks have even become the base for some of the best The Real Housewives of Miami memes.
Marysol Patton
When Marysol was introduced, she ran her own publicist group, was engaged (and later married), and showed off her entertaining and fabulous mother, Elsa. Marysol grew up in Miami and is a who’s-who in social circles.
In the reboot, Marysol is now retired and married to a new man. She still makes her quirky comments and has a love for cocktails (or as she calls them “cockies"). Marysol is technically a friend in the reboot, but her presence is felt as much as a Housewife on the main roster.
Larsa Pippen
The one thing that fans wanted to know about the Peacock reboot was if Larsa Pippen was coming back. Larsa was on the first season of RHOM but didn’t come back for seasons 2 and 3. Considering her high-profile marriage to NBA all-star Scottie Pippen, she was a Housewife the Bravo world wanted to see more of.
In the reboot, Larsa has changed a lot. She divorced Scottie, sold their family home, and is starting new business ventures. The future is bright for Larsa (even with a few dramatic moments with Adriana and Nicole Martin).
Lisa Hochstein
In the past, Lisa Hochstein’s husband deserved his own show because of his popular plastic surgery business and being known as the “boob god.” These days, however, Lenny and Lisa are going through a nasty divorce, which has been shown in season 5.
Lisa made her name known in seasons 2 and 3 where she was open about their fertility struggles and the difficulty of being married to a well-known plastic surgeon. Lisa is back for seasons 4 and 5, showing just how much has changed in her life over the past eight years.
Guerdy Abraira
Guerdy Abraira doesn’t have the longest run on The Real Housewives as a newbie in Miami but she’s quickly becoming a fan favorite. She joined the series in season 4 and continues to show her work ethic in season 5.
Guerdy married her high school sweetheart and had two sons. On top of being a doting mother and wife, she’s also a globally known event planner. She’s been recognized by Vogue and The Knotfor her epic events, and the recognition has only made her busier. In season 5, Guerdy has had a hard time balancing work and married life but is slowly figuring it out with the help of her friends.
Julia Lemigova
Another new Housewife on the reboot is former model and pageant gal, Julia Lemogova. Julia is one of the more light-hearted Housewives on the show and likes to make light during tense times. However, Julia doesn’t stay quiet when spoken down to. She has gone head-to-head against Larsa and Alexia in defense of herself and her best friend Adriana.
In season 5, Julia has shown relatability with parents by expressing her grief over being an empty-nester. Without her daughters at home, Julia and her wife Martina have to get used to life as a duo.
Nicole Martin
Nicole Martin has proven to be one of the smartest cast members on The Real Housewives as a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. Nicole has rubbed quite a few cast members the wrong way for acting differently off-camera and for being “two-faced” in the group. Nicole has denied talking behind her new friends’ backs but time will tell if their friendships are strong enough to last throughout the series.
On top of being a doctor, Nicole is engaged to her longtime partner Anthony Lopez and is a mother to their son Greyson. It’s amazing how much Nicole accomplishes in a day, making her one of the show’s hardest workers.
Kiki Barth
Kiki Barth was one friend who should have become a main Housewife in 2023. Kiki joined as a friend in season 4 and has some of the funniest comments on the show.
Born and raised in Haiti, Kiki moved to America at 13 and quickly became a well-known model. On The Real Housewives of Miami, Kiki has teamed up with Larsa and Adriana against the other women in arguments but is strong in her own right. With her colorful and strong personality, she’d made an excellent full-time housewife in the future.
