Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Miami is currently giving viewers drama of epic proportions thanks to the divorce of Lisa and Lenny Hochstein. On top of their split is the drama between Dr. Nicole Martin and the rest of the group.

As a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, she’s currently working at Lennar Foundation Medical Center, according to Bravo. The site also mentioned she’s a “member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists.” With brains and beauty, some Housewives are jealous of her success.
She’s An Author Of Sorts
If there’s one thing to know about the RHOM reboot it’s that Nicole hit the ground running with tenacity and vigor. While new to the group, Nicole doesn’t tip-toe around the truth or her accomplishments. She's proud of the decade of schooling she went through to get where she is now.

How Did She Meet Anthony?
Nicole and her fiancé Anthony Lopez are soon to be on their way as one the best couples on The Real Housewives of Miami. Their relationship has been touched on in season 5 now that the longtime couple became engaged.
According to Distractify, the two both grew up in Miami but didn’t meet until they were in Las Vegas at the same time. The couple eventually had their son Greyson and got engaged on New Year's Eve 2021. Although no wedding plans have been solidified yet, Nicole wouldn’t mind a destination wedding.
Her Fiancé Didn’t Know What To Expect
Nicole’s fiancé didn’t know what to expect when Nicole joined the series. In a personal interview with The List, she explained how out of touch Anthony was with the reality TV world and didn’t know what went into it.
She told the publication a funny story about their first day of filming. “So he says a story about how he pulls into the driveway and some man is like, 'Stop,' and he's like, 'This is my house. Why are you telling me to stop?' We're like, 'Get out the car. We need to mic you,' and so he gets mic'd, and then they're calling on the walkie-talkie, 'Mr. Lopez is outside. He's about to enter,' so that they can be ready for him," Nicole said. She continued saying, "And he was like, 'Whoa, what is happening? I just thought someone was going to be with a camcorder in the house.'"
Her House Has Been Nationally Recognized
The homes of the Real Housewives are often lavish, beautifully decorated, and expensive. And while Nicole is new to the franchise, her house has already met the fans' needs in terms of flare.
In 2021, Nicole and Anthony’s home caught the eye of the prestigious Architectural Digest. The couple’s Coral Gabels home was celebrated for its size and coziness. According to Bravo, Nicole is a current physician and lecturer at the Lennar Foundation Medical Center, which is a part of the University of Miami where she received her undergraduate degree.

Guerdy Will Not Be Planning Her Wedding
Nicole and Guerdy Abraira are on the fast track to becoming one of the best friendships on The Real Housewives. As two of the newer Housewives on the reboot, they have leaned on each other during hard times. But just because they’re close doesn’t mean Guerdy is going to be a part of Nicole’s wedding planning.
Guerdy is a globally known event planner, most known for her over-the-top weddings. With Nicole planning her wedding, she was asked on Watch What Happens Live if she’d hire Guerdy to plan her wedding. She responded with “No, I love her too much.” She later told The Daily Dish that she valued their friendship too much to mix business with pleasure.
Nicole’s Upbringing Pushed Her For A Better Future
Nicole has been open about her family’s hardships on RHOM. After her father was arrested for money laundering, her mom was left to pick up the pieces and provide for Nicole and her siblings. Seeing how much her mom struggled during those years pushed Nicole to do better for her future.
Nicole has said on the show that she’d never rely solely on a man because of what happened to her mom, which is why she became successful on her own before getting serious with Anthony
Her Favorite Housewives' Style Is Not On Her Cast
Nicole may as well be a medical celebrity in Miami for all the notable work she’s done, but now that she’s a Housewife she has become a celebrity in the Bravo world. Known for speaking her truth and standing up for others, Nicole is beloved in the fandom.
But when talking to The List, Nicole was asked which “celebrity look” was her favorite, Nicole took it back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “I love Dorit [Kemsley]'s style. To me, she's just so fabulous, so classy, and she just kills it with her looks.” And if there’s one thing to know about Dorit, it’s that she takes her style very seriously.
